New book just released!
It is my mission to inspire people to thrive in their day-to-day relationships.
About the book
The Waiting Room is about the importance of relationships from a Christian perspective. Written with the perfect blend of compassion, love, humor, and wisdom, it compels us to “stand in the gap” for the betterment of our loved ones. With each season of life, our relationships are constantly defining who we are and who we can become. The influence of our relationships can profoundly affect the quality of our lives. All of us are involved in some type of relationship. Whether it’s the family-unit relationship, marriage relationship, coworker relationship, or all other relationships in-between; there is a common thread that connects us. We are inspired to be more attentive and purposeful as we relate to one another. The Waiting Room insightfully reveals how God wants us to become the active force of unconditional love, compassion, and patience in our relationships as we journey through life together.
“What a great read!
This book is a spiritual and motivational masterpiece. It allows you to pray and uplift people positively without them even knowing it. Powerful!”

Hello, I’m Felicia M. Wright
As a young girl I really enjoyed reading. My love for reading sparked an interest in creative writing. That interest in creative writing inspired me to write short stories and poems for my family members. Writing had become my friend, we had plans to accomplish great things together. I dreamed of becoming a published author and autographing my books. But my passion for creative writing would lay dormant for several years as I pushed my way through adolescence and into adulthood.
My nurturing and caregiver skills led me down the career path of a nursing clinician. Having fierce determination and a strong sense of purpose, I applied to nursing school. I was granted admission into a competitive nursing program and later graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree. I successfully passed the NCLEX-RN exam on my first attempt. I had achieved my goal of becoming a Registered Nurse. As a native Detroiter, a licensed professional (RN), wife, and mother I knew something else was missing. I had gotten so busy with life that my dream of becoming a published author was a distant memory.
As I embark upon this next chapter of my life, I feel compelled to renew my passion for creative writing. Rising above daily obstacles that can drain the happiness out of our relationships, may seem like a daunting task. But I believe we can overcome these obstacles and learn how to experience fulfilment in our relationships. It is my hope to inspire people to thrive in their day to day relationships. That’s why I wrote my latest book “The Waiting Room”. I invite you to join me as we commence upon this journey of building stronger and healthier relationships. Let’s start today!
